Position: Commercial Litigation Solicitor - 3-8 PQE

Salary: £80,000 - £105,000

Location: City of London (Hybrid working)

A well known and established boutique, based in central London not far from Farringdon station, is looking for a confident Senior Solicitor (3-8 PQE) to join their litigation team, focused on assisting senior executives. They handle a diverse caseload which includes, but is not limited to, director disqualification, shareholder disputes, corporate disputes, insolvency, and restructuring matters. The firm has a strong specialism focusing on providing personal and commercial services to SMEs, Directors, shareholders, HNW Individuals, and financial institutions including banks. While the overall firm is mid-sized and close-nit, the Commercial Litigation team is significant.

The firm is open to candidates from a Legal 500, national, or international background, prioritising experience in director disqualification, insolvency, and other areas of commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex matters independently including section 17 CDDA Applications and insolvency processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing litigation including director disqualification, shareholder disputes, corporate disputes, insolvency, and restructuring matters.
• Support proceedings on freezing orders, misfeasance claims, TUVs, and other orders,
• Assist team Partners on complex matters and support junior legal professionals on their continued growth.
• Deliver outstanding services to clients including banks, Insolvency Practitioners, financial institutions and HNWIs, with relationship building and a sound understanding of client legal and commercial requirements.
• Assist with team marketing activities including writing articles.
• Conduct personal development and advocacy when required.

Skills and Experience:

• UK qualified Solicitor with 3 - 8 years PQE from a reputable firm (other levels will be considered on a case by case basis).
• A demonstrated track record of commercial disputes with and an enthusiasm for the sector,
• Experience managing director disqualification matters,
• Strong knowledge of insolvency matters,
• Technically strong understanding of legal processes and strong commercial judgment.
• A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.
