Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Manager to lead their commercial operations and drive business growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee contract negotiations, manage client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing commercial strategies, optimising project delivery, and fostering strong stakeholder partnerships. Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Growth: Partner with executive leadership to implement commercial strategies that maximise profitability and support group performance. Commercial Negotiations: Lead discussions with clients, suppliers, and contractors to secure favourable, long-term contractual agreements. Project Management: Oversee multiple technical, time-intensive projects using Microsoft Project to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Operations Support: Collaborate with the Production Director to create estimates, provide technical leadership, and manage key project workflows. Functional Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary business teams to foster a high-performance culture and ensure strict health and safety compliance. Financial Management: Oversee cross-functional team collaboration to establish robust annual budgets, mitigate risk, and drive recurring revenue. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships. Requirements Proven Management Experience: Solid leadership background in management roles within construction or related technical industries. Advanced Negotiation Skills: Track record of securing advantageous agreements with diverse clients and vendors. Software Proficiency: Expert use of Microsoft Office Suite and project management systems like Microsoft Project. Strong Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for engaging diverse stakeholders, clients, and internal teams. Organisational Mastery: Strong time management techniques to handle multiple shifting priorities efficiently. Methodological Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and complex technical operations. Mobility: Valid driving licence required for site visits and meetings.
