The Role

• 
  
• Join an established Commercial Property team and play an active role in its continued development and success.

Manage a varied caseload acting for landlords, developers, business owners, investors and landowners.

Advise on commercial property acquisitions and disposals, including investment and development matters.

Handle a broad range of commercial leases, licences and associated property arrangements.

Advise on property finance and secured lending matters.

Work on more sophisticated property arrangements including options, pre-emption agreements and overage agreements.

Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to develop new business.

Work collaboratively with other departments, including Corporate & Commercial, where property matters form part of wider business transactions.

Have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of the commercial property offering rather than simply processing transactions.

Choose to be based from the Walsall, Cannock or Sutton Coldfield office, supported by an agile approach to working.

You

• 
  
• An experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 6 years' post-qualification experience.

Confident handling a broad range of commercial property transactions with limited supervision.

Commercially minded, with the ability to understand the client's wider objectives rather than focusing solely on the legal technicalities.

Comfortable advising landlords, developers, investors, business owners and landowners.

Able to build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts.

Someone who enjoys business development and has the ambition to develop existing relationships while creating new opportunities.

A confident communicator who can work effectively with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders.

Someone with the leadership qualities and ambition to help develop a successful team.

Keen to take on responsibility and play a visible role within an established regional practice.

Pragmatic and solutions-focused, with an appreciation that successful commercial property work is ultimately about helping clients achieve their objectives.
