Talentmark are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer to join a multinational, multi-industry company on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is fully home-based with occasional trips to the clients sites in Yorkshire and Scotland.
The Company:
Our client is a multinational company in a range of industries including renewable energy and healthcare products.
Salary:
This role has been assessed as outside IR35.
£51.28 per hour PAYE or £68.12 per hour via Umbrella or Limited Company.
Commissioning Engineer Role:
Develop and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan.
Plan, prepare and coordinate pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up activities leading to project completion.
Perform and oversee National Grid testing procedures.
Coordinate all commissioning and testing activities across site teams.
Lead and align, contractors, site teams, and stakeholders on-site.
Execution and follow-up of testing activities for 400 kV HVDC switchgear.
Your Background:
Hold a relevant degree in Engineering or have equivalent working experience.
Must-have: TP141A Certification (National Grid authorisation)
Experience managing site teams and contractors
Experience in the execution and follow-up of testing activities for 400 kV switchgear
Proven ability to maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout commissioning and grid code requirementsApply:
