The role

Staff and Walton Out Care Services is looking for kind, reliable Community Care Workers to support people in the comfort of their own homes.

Reporting to the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, you will provide practical and personal support that helps service users feel safe, respected and as independent as possible.

No two visits will be exactly the same. You may be helping someone prepare for the day, supporting them with a meal or simply offering reassurance and companionship.

Key Responsibilities

Your role may include:

• Supporting service users with washing, dressing and personal care
• Helping people get up, go to bed and move safely around their home
• Providing continence and bowel care
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking
• Completing agreed household tasks, including laundry, shopping and light housework
• Supporting medication, including prescribed insulin where trained and authorised
