As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse , you'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while building meaningful relationships with patients throughout their treatment journey.
As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will: Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely in patients' homes across Cardiff, Swansea and Newport Undertake comprehensive patient assessments before and during treatment Administer IV chemotherapy, perform cannulation and phlebotomy Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage adverse reactions appropriately Build strong relationships with patients, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate clinical documentation while delivering the highest standards of patient care About you: Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration Experienced administering chemotherapy in a hospital or community setting SACT Passport xwzovoh or recognised chemotherapy qualification preferred Competent in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy Confident working independently with excellent clinical assessment skills Full UK driving licence If you're looking for a rewarding Community Chemotherapy Nurse role where you can deliver specialist oncology care, enjoy genuine autonomy and make a lasting difference to patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
