Community Housing Assistant

Salary circa £26,300per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan As a Community Housing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting Housing Managers to deliver excellent housing management services across our communities. You'll provide a proactive, customer-focused service, helping customers sustain their tenancies, resolve issues early, and navigate housing-related processes. Support customers to sustain their tenancies through regular contact, practical assistance, and signposting, while monitoring progress and escalating concerns to Housing Managers. Deliver neighbourhood and community management services by investigating low-level anti-social behaviour, maintaining records, providing advice, and monitoring cases for escalation. Manage voids and lettings administration, maintaining trackers and keeping systems up to date. Support compliance and performance activities by arranging customer appointments, maintaining accurate records, and escalating safeguarding, vulnerability, and compliance concerns where needed. Experience working in housing management, customer services, community services, or a related environment. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. The position is primarily home and community based (two days per week), with regular attendance required at our office in Thremhall Park, Bishop's Stortford. North Herts, Northstowe, Fenland, Stevenage with travel across other patches in Essex regularly as and when needed. We mainly work Monday to Friday and work occasional evenings to meet with customers. The great news is that youll be able to shape your own diary Occasionally, you may be required to travel at short notice, so we're looking for someone who is flexible and willing to travel when needed.
