If so, this is your opportunity to use your skills to help us deliver value, quality, and great service.
The Role
As a Community Housing Officer, you'll manage a patch of tenancies and build lasting relationships with tenants and communities to help them thrive. You'll act as a key worker who listens, supports, and advocates for tenants. Addressing issues like anti-social behaviour and housing matters with an inclusive approach, you'll coordinate services to provide seamless support. You'll connect tenants with local groups and services, maintain well‑kept estates, and make effective decisions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of tenants and colleagues.
As a Community Housing Officer, you will play a key role in supporting teams across Trivallis to achieve a team around the tenant approach, working closely with colleagues from different departments to provide the support that matters, ensuring tenants feel valued and empowered.
About You
We're looking for someone who puts people first and embodies our values in every interaction; compassionate and proactive. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships; with a relevant qualification (CIH Level 4) or equivalent experience in tenancy sustainment with a detailed understanding of housing legislation and best practices. Please note a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with both customers and the workforce, demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, is important. You should be comfortable handling a variety of operational enquiries efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
A flexible and proactive approach to work is key, along with a professional, polite, and friendly telephone manner. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and can balance competing priorities with ease, we’d love to hear from you.
