A leading alternative investment manager is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its London-based Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious compliance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced investment management environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters.
About the Role
The Compliance Analyst will support the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm's compliance framework.
Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm's compliance framework.
- Assist in the delivery of the compliance monitoring programme, including thematic reviews and testing.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business impacts.
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures and registers.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and filings.
- Review marketing materials and financial promotions where required.
- Support compliance advisory activities across investment, operations, distribution and senior management teams.
- Assist with incident management, breaches and regulatory enquiries.
- Contribute to compliance training and awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
- 1–4 years' experience within compliance, risk or regulatory functions in financial services.
- Understanding of the UK regulatory environment and FCA requirements.
- Experience within asset management, investment management, alternatives, private markets or financial services.
- Exposure to hedge funds or alternative investment managers would be viewed favourably.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Relevant compliance qualification (or progress towards one) is advantageous.
