We're recruiting for an experienced Compliance Auditor to join a leading organisation within the aerospace sector on an initial 3-month contract , with the potential for a further 3-month extension .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aerospace compliance professional to play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting quality assurance across manufacturing and maintenance operations.
The Role
As a Compliance Auditor, you'll be responsible for independently assessing compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards, ensuring the continued effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS), Compliance Monitoring System and Safety Management System (SMS). The role involves planning and conducting internal audits, identifying non-conformities, supporting regulatory and customer audits, and driving continuous improvement across the business. ?filecite?turn0file0?L28-L41?
Key Responsibilities
Plan, conduct and report internal compliance audits against CAA Part 21G, UK CAA Part 145, EASA Part 145 and AS9100 Rev D requirements.
Verify ongoing compliance with Production Organisation Approval (POA) and Maintenance Organisation Approval (MOA) requirements.
Identify non-conformities and improvement opportunities, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and verified.
Support regulatory and customer audits through preparation, coordination and evidence gathering.
Review procedures, manuals and records to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
Conduct process-based audits across manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain and support functions.
Maintain audit schedules, compliance records and reporting while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. ?filecite?turn0file0?L43-L73?
About You
We're looking for someone with:
Proven experience auditing within a CAA Part 21G Production Organisation and/or UK CAA/EASA Part 145 environment.
Strong working knowledge of CAA Part 21G, UK CAA Part 145, EASA Part 145 and AS9100 Rev D.
Experience conducting internal, process, product and system audits in an aerospace environment.
Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ?filecite?turn0file0?L74-L94?
Essential Qualifications
Certified Lead Auditor qualification (AS9100, ISO 9001 or equivalent).
A minimum of 5 years' experience within an aerospace quality, compliance or regulatory environment.

Contract Details
Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of a further 3-month extension
Monday to Friday
7:30am 4:15pm (9-day fortnight) Every other Friday is a non working day
