Job Title: Compliance Business Partner
Consumer Credit Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Job Type: Permanent / Hybrid The Role This role requires strong Financial Services Compliance knowledge gained in the Consumer Credit sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the existing compliance function, supporting both day-to-day activity and the development and implementation of robust frameworks. Key Responsibilities Compliance monitoring
designing, establishing, and implementing a monitoring framework proportionate to the business. Support on AML/Financial crime related tasks e.g. firm wide risk assessment, establishing controls, PEP processes, SAR investigations etc Conduct horizon scanning to identify, track and assess regulatory developments affecting the firm and provide further support on relevant gap analysis. Draft, review and/or establish compliance and financial crime policies, procedures and frameworks in line with FCA requirements. Provide clear, practical compliance advice to stakeholders across the business. Review all forms of customer comms/ website/financial promotions and collaborate with marketing team for to ensure consumer duty customer understanding alignment. Support on all required governance MI and data to ensure appropriateness and timely presentation for papers. Key Skills & Experience Proven compliance experience, within consumer credit financial services sector. Experience in AML/Financial Crime structures Strong ability to meet deliverables and own responsibilities and tasks without significant oversight Knowledge of FCA regulations with strong understanding of consumer protection requirements, CONC, Consumer Duty and Senior Managers and Certification Regime SM&CR etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report and proven policy writing. Working Arrangements Initial short period of onboarding in Sheffield to build relationships, set objectives and understand the business. Thereafter, a hybrid / flexible working arrangement, with scope for remote work.
