ComplianceManagerThispostisforafixedperiodtocoveraspecialComplianceProjecttoensuretheCouncilspropertyestateisfullycompliantandanyrequiredremedialsarecompletedwhichwillenablethepermanentComplianceTeamtomanagetheestateeffectivelyasbusinessasusualoncecompleted.
ThisroleispartofaspecialistunitwithintheFacilitiesManagement(FM)functionbuttheprojectteamwillalsobesupportedbytwoprojectspecificLawyerswhowillberesponsibleforreviewingallpropertyagreementstoidentifywheretheCouncilholdsresponsibilityforstatutorycompliancematters.
ComplianceManagerThepostholder'sprimaryresponsibilitywillbeundertakingsiteinspectionstoensuretheCouncilisdischargingitsstatutorycomplianceduties,identifyinganyareaswhereitisnotandrectifyingthesewithourthirdpartycontractors,aswellasmanagingcontractorstoundertakeanyremedialactionrequired,andthenupdatingthecompliancetrackeraccordingly.
Thepostholderwillalsobeinvolvedinreviewingcompliancecertificatesfromcontractorsandidentifyingandactioninganyremedialsrequired.
Thepostholdermusthaveexceptionalattentiontodetail,comprehensiveknowledgeofpropertyrelatedstatutorycomplianceobligations,asuitablelevelofbuildingpathologyandM&Esystemknowledgetoenablethepostholdertoidentifywhatcomplianceworksarerequiredandrelevanttoeachspecificproperty,aswellasprojectmanagementskillstoensurecontractorskeepontopofworkidentifiedasbeingrequired.
