Aerospace Composite Laminators Location: Merseyside Contract Type: Contract Rate: Competitive DOE Hours: Full-Time, Shift Patterns Available About the Role We are currently recruiting for Skilled Aerospace Composite Laminators to join our client in Merseyside on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment, producing high-quality composite components for advanced aerospace applications. The successful candidates will have proven experience working with carbon fibre pre-preg materials and a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, quality requirements, and composite processes within aerospace. Key Responsibilities * Lay up carbon fibre pre-preg materials in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions. * Manufacture complex structural and non-structural composite components using carbon fibre pre-preg materials, including panels, engine nacelles, nutrails, aerodynamic fairings, and packers, ensuring strict compliance with aerospace drawings, procedures, and quality requirements. * Perform vacuum bagging, debulking, and curing preparation activities. * Work with composite tooling, moulds, and associated equipment. * Ensure correct orientation, ply placement, and material traceability throughout the manufacturing process. * Complete all manufacturing documentation accurately. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. * Work to demanding production schedules while maintaining aerospace quality standards. Essential Requirements * Previous experience as a Composite Laminator within the aerospace, defence, motorsport, or advanced composites sector. * Proven experience working with carbon fibre pre-preg materials. * Experience of hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, and debulking processes. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions. * Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing techniques. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work effectively as part of a production team. * Flexible approach to shifts and overtime when required.
