Concrete Casting Operative

At Job&Talent, we are currently recruiting Concrete Casters for exciting opportunities at Unipart Logistics in Honeybourne, Evesham (WR11 8TS). This is a fantastic chance to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality precast concrete panels used in the construction of secure prison walls. Salary: £17.00 per hour Overtime: Saturdays paid at £25.50 Working Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00-16:00 and Friday 7:00-12:00 Preparing moulds for concrete casting. Pouring, levelling and finishing concrete. Stripping moulds and safely removing finished concrete units. Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification. Working collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily targets. Experience working with concrete or in a manufacturing/production environment. Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, casting and finishing techniques. Experience preparing, assembling and stripping moulds/formwork. Good attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards. Manual handling capability and willingness to undertake physically demanding work. Previous experience in precast concrete manufacturing. Experience using overhead cranes (with relevant certification). Forklift Truck (FLT) licence. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles. Basic IT skills for recording production or quality checks.
