Job Description We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our East West Rail team based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the East West Rail team, supporting them in delivering technical compliance and engineering excellence across trial trenching and geotechnical investigations. Supporting the Section Engineer in managing engineering resources to ensure works are delivered safely on time and to specification Overseeing in-situ soil and rock testing, including SPT, Hand Shear Vane, CBR, and BRE 365 soakaway tests Managing quality assurance records, inspection requests, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders What are we looking for? This role of Site Engineer is a great fit if you: ~ Hold, or are working towards, a Construction-related Degree or HNC, supported by a valid CSCS card. Have experience setting out using a range of surveying equipment and hold a full UK driving licence. Bring knowledge of CAD software and ground investigation works within a construction or infrastructure environment. Take pride in maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and technical compliance on site.
