Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Undertake setting out and surveying activities for clean water trunk main installations and associated infrastructure. Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Manage and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirements and Thames Water standards. Coordinate trenching, pipe laying, thrust boring, directional drilling, valve installations, washouts, air valves, and associated civil works. Review and resolve site engineering issues in collaboration with design teams and project management. Support commissioning, pressure testing, chlorination, sampling, and network integration activities Ensure all works meet Thames Water quality standards and project specifications. Maintain accurate site records, quality documentation, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and as-built information. Ensure works are carried out in accordance with CDM Regulations, Water Industry standards, and site-specific risk assessments. Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). Ensure environmental controls are maintained to minimise impacts on customers, watercourses, and local communities.
