Site Agent - Highways Start Date: ASAP Civil Engineering – Drainage & Bridge Deck Works About the Role We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to lead drainage and bridge deck works on a major infrastructure project in Buckfastleigh, Devon. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the project while maintaining a strong health and safety culture. ? Key Responsibilities Manage all site activities for drainage and bridge deck works. Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Monitor programme, progress, and budgets, reporting to senior management. Prepare and maintain site documentation, including RAMS, site diaries, and project records. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value throughout the project. Requirements CSCS Gold Card (minimum) – Essential SMSTS – Essential Proven experience managing drainage and bridge deck projects. Experience with risk management and site compliance documentation.
