Job Description Job Role: Consultant Anaesthetist Specialism: Medical Anaesthetics Shift Pattern: Join our dynamic team at Northampton General Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to provide expert anaesthetic care and contribute to our high-quality patient services. Provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across a range of surgical procedures. Participate in on-call rotas and provide emergency anaesthetic cover as required. Engage in clinical governance activities, including audit, research, and quality improvement projects. Contribute to the training and development of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Completion of specialist training in Anaesthetics and possession of the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent. Experience in providing anaesthetic services in a hospital setting. Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD). Experience in sub-specialties within anaesthetics (e.g., pain management, intensive care). Adherence to NHS mandatory training requirements. Competitive salary and benefits package.
