Clinical Lead / Head of Cellular Pathology About the Role
A busy, well-regarded cellular pathology department just outside London is seeking a Consultant Histopathologist with subspecialty interest in GI, urology and gynaecological pathology. Join a supportive MDT environment with strong scope for service development. Key Responsibilities Accurate, timely reporting across GI, urology and gynae specimens MDT input and collaboration with surgery, oncology, gastroenterology and gynaecology Reporting to RCPath standards; contribute to QA, audit and CPD Supervise/train junior staff, BMS and trainees as required Participate in on-call rota; maintain governance/CPD compliance Essential Requirements Full GMC registration with licence to practise On GMC Specialist Register in Histopathology (or within 6 months of CCT), or equivalent FRCPath or equivalent Demonstrable subspecialty experience in GI, urology and/or gynae pathology Right to work in the UK
