Consultant Medical Oncologist in Skin SACT to support the melanoma cancer service within NHS Tayside. Additional tumour site – prostate or working hours could be reduced to cover Skin job plan only.
Schedule: Monday – (Apply online only) hours; Tuesday – Friday – (Apply online only) hours.
About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Oncology, you will provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality services.
Responsibilities
- Support junior doctors and clinical staff
- Contribute to service development and audits
Qualifications
Essential
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or Personal Vulnerability Guarantee (PVG) check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
- UK right to work
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable
- CCT in Oncology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
