CAMHS Eating Disorders
service in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded multidisciplinary team providing specialist care to young people aged
1218 years
with complex eating disorders and associated mental health conditions. The Role
You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment to young people within an inpatient eating disorders service. Working alongside psychologists, therapists, nurses and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities
Provide consultant psychiatric leadership within the CAMHS Eating Disorders service. Assess, diagnose and manage young people aged 1218 years with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning. Complete Mental Health Act assessments where appropriate. Liaise effectively with families, community CAMHS teams and external agencies. Ensure clinical documentation is completed to a high standard. Participate in clinical governance and service development initiatives. Requirements
Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise. Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or eligibility to join). Section 12 Approval. Approved Clinician status (desirable). Previous experience working within CAMHS and eating disorders services. Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills. What's on Offer
