As a key member of our surgical department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care. Participate in on-call rotas, ensuring timely and effective surgical interventions. Engage in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical advancements. Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and research activities within the department. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Completion of higher surgical training in Upper GI Surgery. Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) or equivalent. Evidence of higher specialist training and experience in Upper GI Surgery. NHS mandatory training completion. Strong clinical skills with a proven track record in Upper GI Surgery. Adherence to all NHS policies and procedures. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection. Participation in regular appraisals and performance reviews.
