Control Panel Wire Person / Panel Builder Location: Witham, Essex Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 DOE Are you an experienced Control Panel Wire Person, Panel Builder or Control Panel Wirer looking for a permanent role with a well-established electrical engineering manufacturer? Based in Witham, this growing company designs and manufactures bespoke electrical control panels, relay panels and equipment racks for the electricity supply industry and other industrial sectors across the UK and overseas. Whether you already have control panel wiring experience or are looking to develop your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with full training available. What's on offer Salary of £26,000 - £34,000 depending on experience Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm 20 days' holiday, increasing to 25 days with service, plus bank holidays PPE provided Free on-site parking Permanent, full-time position Training and career development opportunities The role Build and wire electrical control panels from engineering drawings Assemble and wire control panels, relay panels and equipment racks Install wiring looms, cable assemblies and relays Carry out mechanical fitting using hand and power tools Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Work as part of the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines About you Previous experience as a Control Panel Wire Person, Panel Builder, Control Panel Wirer, Electrical Assembler or similar would be advantageous Ability to read engineering drawings is desirable Experience using hand tools within a manufacturing or engineering environment Control panel wiring, cable assembly or electrical assembly experience is beneficial Practical, reliable and keen to develop new skills Able to lift and move heavy components safelyApply today with your CV or contact Julia at Prime Appointments for more information.
