Controls and Design Engineer

Role: Controls & Design Engineer Location: Hadleigh Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 Contract: Permanent Start Date: Immediate We are looking for a Controls & Design Engineer to join an established engineering team. This is a varied role covering design, controls, product development and continuous improvement. The Role: Producing engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Creating work instructions and electrical schematics Supporting new product development, testing and validation Working on continuous improvement of existing products Engineering administration, including part number creation and BOM management Providing application and technical support Researching, developing and testing control systems Creating technical documentation, manuals and guides About You: Engineering or Product Design qualification preferred but not essential CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks Experience with electrical and/or diesel control systems PLC, CODESYS or scripting experience would be advantageous 1+ years' experience within a design/engineering environment Experience with rotating machinery, steel fabrication or control systems would be beneficial Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines Self-motivated, inquisitive and keen to learnPlease get in Contact Carl for this is a great opportunity as an engineer looking to develop their skills across design, controls and product development within a growing engineering environment. #SUFFOLKPERM
