Conveyancing Paralegal

We are working with a reputable firm based in Lichfield who are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their growing team. You will work closely with and provide support to senior solicitors across a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong candidate looking to develop their career within a supportive and close-knit legal practice. To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials: Previous paralegal or relevant legal experience Practical experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing Strong technical legal skills, particularly in legal drafting and document review Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work Good organisational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills A professional and client-focused approach Good IT and general administrative skills Within this position, you'll also be: Assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, including commercial lettings from inception through to completion Drafting, reviewing and amending legal documentation Undertaking legal and document review and identifying issues requiring further consideration Assisting with searches, enquiries, reports on title and other conveyancing work Dealing with post completion requirements including preparation and submission of Land Registry applications and SDLT returns Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties Supporting solicitors with the progression and management of files Completing file-opening procedures and carrying out client ID and verification checks Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records and ensuring files are kept up to date Providing general administrative and organisational support to the Conveyancing Department Undertaking other duties as reasonably required to support the department and the wider firm Salary & Working Hours Salary is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience Working Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hours' lunch Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
