Coordinating Authorised Person

Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Coordinating Authorised Person to support the delivery of safe systems of work and statutory compliance across a portfolio of highly secure and technically complex sites. Key Responsibilities: Provide guidance and support to site Authorised Persons across multiple locations Coordinate statutory compliance and Safe Systems of Work delivery in accordance with JSP 375 requirements Monitor, review and report on compliance performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement Escalate safety concerns, risks or compliance issues to senior stakeholders where appropriate Support the planning and delivery of specialist engineering and maintenance activities Promote best practice and drive continuous improvement across operational teams Ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are applied consistently and effectively Work closely with Estates and Facilities teams to maintain asset safety and compliance Job Requirements: Previous experience in a similar Authorised Person or compliance-focused role Experience operating within regulated or high-hazard environments Strong understanding of health, safety and statutory compliance requirements Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Current Authorised Person (AP) certification in one or more JSP disciplines: Hazardous Areas Mechanical Systems Confined Spaces Petroleu...
