A leading Top 50 UK law firm with an excellent Legal 500-ranked Corporate practice is looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Associate / Corporate Solicitor with 6+ PQE to join its growing Corporate team in Guildford, Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer to work on a broad range of high-value M&A, corporate, venture capital and investment transactions within a highly regarded and ambitious team.

As a Senior Corporate Associate / Corporate Solicitor, you will:

• Advise on a broad range of corporate law and corporate transactions, including M&A, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, investment transactions, spin-outs, shareholder matters and company law.
• You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating transaction documentation and providing corporate legal advice, while managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
• The role will involve working directly with clients, partners and other professional advisers, as well as supervising and supporting junior solicitors and lawyers.
• You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and client relationship management, while developing your own profile and building long-term client relationships.

Experience Required

• SRA-qualified Corporate Solicitor with 6+ PQE within Private Practice Corporate Law
• Experienced corporate lawyer with a strong M&A / corporate transactions background
• Solicitor with experience managing transactions from start to finish
• Strong communicator with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Ideally Experience or some exposure to supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
• Ideally previous business development experience
