We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs.We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.As a Cost Engineer, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:Provision of key financial data for internal month end P&L submissionsRemeasurement / checking of BOQ updatesForecasting actual versus budgetRisk Analysis i.e. best case, worst case & most likely for cost & valueCost provisions/accruals including third party materials, subcontractors, plant, etcWeekly cost ledger analysis using the BUK financial systems i.e. SAP, Power BICompetent knowledge of each subcontract agreementManagement of Early Warning notifications from each subcontractorValue Determination i.e. Cost to Date & Forecasts to CompleteChange Management i.e. response to, assessment & client notification of compensation eventsCompilation of data for inclusion in main payment applicationFacilitation of subcontractor progress / update meetingsAgreement of subcontractor valuations & payment certificatesCash flow forecastsCommercial auditing of each subcontract including payment applications, rates & claimsShowing innovation to improve company contribution marginExperience NEC 4 Option B ContractsKnowledge of NAECI AgreementExperience on major Construction ProjectsStandard Method of MeasurementStrong bias to Contractor workingIf you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246.
