Counterbalance Forklift Driver

FLT DRIVER > 4 ON 4 OFF > 12HR SHIFT > AVAIL ASAP Continental shifts 2day/2 nights 4days off: 6am - 6pm / 6pm -6am Responsibilities Safely operate counterbalance trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs. Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking shipments and inventory. Assist with equipment repair as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required during loading and unloading processes. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including basic maths calculations for inventory tracking. Requirements Valid accredited counterbalance license. Experience in warehouse operations is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair and maintenance. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and handle materials safely.
