County Engagement Team Recovery Worker

Interviews for this role are taking place on 14/09/2026An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Turning Point’s Leicestershire and Rutland Substance Use Services as a Recovery Worker based within our County Engagement Team. Within the role you will focus on:Supporting new service users into treatment by offering proactive engagement supportThorough assessment of individual needs completing comprehensive assessments on a daily basis both face to face and over the telephone with people accessing the service.Completion of initial risk assessments and recovery plans to reduce risks associated with substance useEnsuring new service users are appropriately supported at the front end of treatment to maximise the likelihood of ongoing engagement and positive change occurringThis post is based in our Coalville Hub.  There may be times where travel is required to one of our other Turning Point LLR hubs to support the wider County Engagement Team or to attend meetings.
