A highly regarded Newcastle law firm is looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor (NQ-5 years' PQE) to join its established and specialist Health & Welfare team.

You'll work on a varied caseload of legally aided Court of Protection matters, representing vulnerable clients in important decisions surrounding their care, residence, contact and medical treatment. You'll be joining an experienced and supportive team with genuine opportunities to develop your expertise and progress your career.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing a caseload of Court of Protection Health & Welfare matters
• Representing vulnerable individuals and their families
• Advising on issues surrounding residence, care and contact
• Handling Deprivation of Liberty matters
• Working on legally aided and publicly funded cases

  You will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor between NQ-5 years' PQE
  • Ideally experienced in Court of Protection, Mental Health or a related area
  • Passionate about working with and supporting vulnerable clients
  • Committed to publicly funded and legal aid work
