This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time role for the entire academic year within a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school.
The School is an 1119 comprehensive school serving the Vale of Glamorgan.
The Role Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.
Maintain a positive, productive and respectful classroom environment.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes.
We're Looking For Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, youth work or similar setting is desirable.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A confident, resilient and professional approach.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or eligibility to register.
