Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Gloucestershire Job Type: Day to Day Supply, Long term Pay Rate: £95 - £120 per day Job Overview: Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across Gloucestershire. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced Cover Supervisors looking to build their career in education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure students remain focused on pre-prepared work. You will need to be confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher. * Ensure students complete assigned work set by the teacher. * Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. * Report any issues or concerns to senior staff. * Support students with questions and encourage engagement. Requirements: * Experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable. * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. * Positive attitude and professional presence. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply. * Must meet standard UK school safeguarding requirements.
