Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor, Morpeth. Are you looking for a new cover supervisor opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you! We are currently recruiting on behalf of Secondary schools looking for Cover Supervisors in Morpeth to support pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5 . Your role will be focused on maintaining excellent classroom behaviour and supporting students across a range of subjects. About the role: Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Managing behaviours within the classroom and building positive relationships with the pupils, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed. Identifying pupils who might be struggling and providing additional support where required and keeping an accurate up to date record on all progress Working collaboratively with other teaching and support staff. Pay, hours and contract: Pay: Between £15-17 per hour Hours: 8:30am - 15:30pm, Monday - Friday Contract: Full time, temporary with the potential of going permanent Start date: September 2026 Location: Morpeth Experience/Qualifications and Requirements: Experience in a similar role or setting, ideally within a school environment QTS or PGCE desired Confident working within a group setting An ability to build healthy relationships with pupils and staff Kind, positive and proactive nature Right to work in the UK Hold an updated DBS certificate on the update service or the willingness to process a new application Professional child or care-related references covering the last two years About Prospero: Prospero Teaching is a Supply Agency that has branches across the world.
