Cover Supervisor with SEN Experience Location: Bath Pay Rate: £100 Hours: Part- or full-time roles during school hours Hanson Recruitment is working with a large number of schools across the South-West which require teachers , teaching assistants, and cover supervisors. We are currently recruiting for a cover supervisor with experience in SEN to work in SEN settings both resource bases in mainstream schools and SEN schools. Cover supervisor responsibilities include: To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people's responses/needs Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Provide targeted support for students with SEN, adapting approaches as needed. T o support students with SEN to fulfil their academic potential To be involved in keeping records and evaluating identified students progress To assist with the development and implementation of support plans To prepare students beforehand for a task, e.g. pre-teaching To supervise practical tasks To carry out structured classroom assessment/observation and feedback outcomes Under the direction of appropriate professionals and after adequate training, to assist in meeting particular scholars needs, e.g. physical development, speech/language development, and medical needs identified in an approved care plan agreed by parents Qualifications & attributes: Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN in a school or specialist setting. Hold a degree Relevant qualifications such as Team Teach, Positive Behaviour Support, or SEND training are desirable.
