This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking for flexible work within education.
The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher.
Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students to complete the work set.
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.
What Were Looking For Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A flexible and proactive approach.
An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
