We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking for flexible work within education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of the teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task with the work that has been set while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. The Role Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning. Support pupils in completing set work. Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment. Follow the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times. The Ideal Candidate Reliable, punctual and professional. Ideally has experience working with young people in a school, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring or similar setting. Confident managing classroom behaviour, including challenging behaviour.
