The Company


A leading UK retail business is investing heavily in its data function and is going through a significant period of growth across analytics and data engineering. The Customer Analyst will sit within the Customer & Digital Analytics function, working closely with the Ecommerce team to understand customer behaviour, online performance and opportunities to optimise the digital journey.


The Role


This is a commercially focused Customer Analytics position rather than a dashboarding-only role; you'll act as a key analytical partner to the Ecommerce function, transforming business questions into analytical problems and using data to identify opportunities and improve customer and commercial performance.


You'll work across areas including:

  • Analysing customer behaviour and ecommerce performance
  • Understanding customer journeys and online behaviour
  • Investigating changes in basket value and conversion
  • Identifying underperforming products and categories
  • Analysing website funnels and customer journeys
  • Evaluating website changes and UX improvements
  • Measuring the commercial impact of data-driven decisions
  • Developing automated BI and self-service reporting
  • Building new analytical tools, reports and processes
  • Presenting complex analysis as clear, commercially focused recommendations


You'll work closely with senior Ecommerce and Marketing stakeholders, understanding their analytical requirements and helping shape strategic xwzovoh roadmaps.


Your Skills & Experience


  • SQL/bigQuery experience
  • Exposure to GA4 is highly desirable
