Job Description Sales Executive Machinery SalesChichesterFull-Time | Permanent | Office BasedAre you passionate about machinery or technical products and enjoy building strong customer relationships? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinery Sales Executive to join a successful, family-run business supplying specialist equipment across the South of England. The Machinery Sales Executive role is about much more than simply closing sales. This is NOT a cold calling sales role, but more consultative with inbound sales conversions. You'll develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers, understand their requirements and guide them through the process from initial enquiry to purchase and aftercare.As a Machinery Sales Executive, you'll represent a range of respected machinery products across sectors including agriculture, construction, groundscare and forestry. You'll have the opportunity to develop your product knowledge through manufacturer-specific training while becoming a valued member of a close-knit team.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and develop machinery sales opportunities from initial enquiry to completionBuild and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customersUnderstand customer requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutionsPromote and develop the company's machinery product portfolioMaintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales processAttend occasional trade shows and industry eventsWork collaboratively with the sales team to manage stock levelsSupport social media activity and product promotionSkills & ExperienceStrong knowledge and understanding of machinery/large technical productsConfident, engaging and customer-focused communication styleGenuine ability to xkybehq build and maintain lasting relationshipsCommercially driven with a strong desire to succeedExcellent attention to detail and follow-throughOrganised approach with the ability to manage leads effectivelyPositive team player with a proactive attitudeSalaryUp to £40,000 per year depending on experienceWorking Hours8am – 5pm Monday to Friday (1:4 Saturday mornings may be introduced with a Friday afternoon given in lieu)BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany pensionProduct-specific trainingStaff events and social activitiesFlexible package for the right candidateFree on-site parking
