Hire Desk Controller Salary: 28,000 Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm We are looking for a Hire Desk Controller to join a busy and growing team, managing hire enquiries and requests while delivering excellent customer service and efficient administration. What You'll Be Doing as a Hire Desk Controller Process customer on and off hire requests accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures. Raise purchase orders and hire contracts using internal systems. Liaise with suppliers and customer sites to arrange the supply of plant and equipment. Monitor deliveries, resolve any issues, and escalate where necessary. Ensure all supplier paperwork relating to hires is accurate and complete. Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, customer sites and internal teams. Work within agreed deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.What We're Looking for in a Hire Desk Controller Previous experience in a Hire Desk, Plant Hire, Customer Service or Administration role is desirable. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work independently whilst contributing as part of a team. IT literate with the ability to learn and use internal systems proficiently. Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to work. Plant hire or construction industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Why Join Us?
