Customer service clerk freight forwarding

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Import/Export Freight Forwarder to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 23 years freight forwarding experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing outstanding customer service.

• Preparing and issuing customer quotations.
• Arranging and setting up import and export shipments.
• Managing shipments from door to door.
• Liaising with customers via telephone and email.
• Monitoring shipment progress and providing regular updates.
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth movement of freight.

• Minimum 23 years' experience within freight forwarding.
• Experience handling import and/or export shipments from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confident using freight systems and Microsoft Office.
