Customer Service Coordinator Join a leading supplier of ready-mixed concrete, independently operating six plants across Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. The Role Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to pick up the phone? As a Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll be the primary hub of day-to-day operations. This is a phone-led, high-volume role where no two days are the same. You will be managing inbound queries from customers who need concrete at short notice, keeping in constant contact with a fleet of drivers, and adapting schedules on the fly when plans change. If you enjoy a buzzing office, problem-solving on your feet, and maintaining a calm head under pressure, this role is for you. About You: * Strong customer service experience * Logistics, transport or dispatch experience preferred but NOT essential * Confident handling high volumes of phone calls * Calm, organised and able to make decisions under pressure * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment * Knowledge of Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, or willingness to learn quickly Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Coordinator: * Act as the primary point of contact via telephone for customers and drivers. * Schedule and coordinate customer concrete deliveries, often at short notice * Handle driver queries, delays and operational issues * Adjust schedules quickly when plans change; a truck breaks down, a customer changes an order, a job overruns. * Build strong customer relationships * Maintain accurate order and delivery records * Liaise with the Vehicle Workshop Manager regarding maintenance and repairs Apply now to join a dedicated team delivering excellent service across the region as their Customer Service Coordinator
