Cutting Line Operative (FLT Counterbalance Desirable) Location: Pontefract Road, Leeds, LS10 Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm | Friday, 7:00am – 2:00pm We're currently recruiting Cutting Line Operatives on behalf of our client based in Leeds (LS10). This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer specialising in beam and block flooring, working with both raw materials and finished products. The Role As a Cutting Line Operative, you'll be responsible for operating cutting machinery, handling heavy construction materials, and ensuring products are prepared accurately to specification. A Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable, as there may be opportunities to assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required. Duties Include: * Operating cutting line machinery safely and efficiently * Measuring and cutting products to specification * Handling raw and finished beam and block flooring materials * Loading and unloading vehicles (where required) * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Following health and safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For: * Previous experience as a machine operative in a manufacturing environment * Counterbalance FLT licence preferred (but not essential) * Comfortable with manual handling and physical work * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team * Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic What's on Offer: * £13.50 per hour * Monday to Friday working week * Early finish every Friday * Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate * Start date from September If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing business and have experience in production or manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
