Data Centre Manager - Manchester & Rotherham | £65K + 5% Bonus Looking after one site is one thing, this role gives you two. A leading edge infrastructure provider is after an experienced DCM to take full ownership of their Manchester and Rotherham sites, as part of a wider national network. What you'll be doing: Running day-to-day operations across both sites - safety, resilience, performance, the lot Leading the on-site teams, sorting shift patterns, managing vendors and contractors Owning incident, problem and change management, keeping H&S and security tight Managing whitespace, power and cooling capacity, plus a hand in the capex/opex budgets Working closely with Technical and Mechanical Leads on PPM programmes and contractor performance Building solid client relationships and leading service reviews across both sites Sharing best practice with other DCMs across the networkWhat you'll need: Solid experience managing a mission-critical, 24x7 data centre Strong people management background - multi-site or multi-team experience is a big plus Comfortable dealing with clients, including the tricky conversations Good working knowledge of DC infrastructure and M&E systems Full UK driving licence - non-negotiable given the two sites Degree level (or equivalent experience) in Facilities/DC Infrastructure Management CDCMP, ITIL Foundation or an M&E background would go down wellWhat's in it for you: £65,000 + 5% bonus Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours Private medical care EV car scheme (salary sacrifice) + cycle to work Health cash plan Death in service - 4x basic salary Up to 5% matched pension contribution Birthday off + company-wide well-being day 2 paid charity/volunteering days a year Unlimited access to online learning Long service awards, socials and a Christmas party Free breakfast, tea/coffee/fruit/soft drinks, plus a Thursday breakfast club RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
