About Our Client Established in 2000, Saxon Weald is a housing association managing close to 7,000 homes across Sussex and Hampshire. They provide affordable rented and shared ownership homes for individuals and families, as well as properties exclusively for the over 55s. They are a charitable Community Benefit Society, with the money they make from rents being re-invested in the management, maintenance and building of homes, and they're proud to enable positive life chances by providing safe and secure homes. With the launch of a new three year Corporate Plan earlier this year, Saxon Weald is entering an exciting new chapter. It is deepening its commitment to customers, enhancing service delivery and modernising systems to support a more responsive, inclusive, and future ready organisation. Job Description Head of Governance, Risk and Procurement Horsham Key Responsibilities : Lead Saxon Weald's Governance, Risk management, assurance and procurement functions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Ensure high standards of Governance and Compliance, ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance.
Be a trusted advisor to the Board, Committees and Executive Team delivering high-quality reports and insight that support decision-making and helps drive continuous improvement.
Support a consistent, risk aware, customer focused and value-for-money approach, embedding these principles into departmental plans and performance monitoring.
The Successful Applicant Head of Governance, Risk and Procurement What We're Looking For : Leadership experience within a Governance role, ideally within social housing or other regulated industries.
Proven track record of managing Board and Committees, with experience of influencing around Governance and Risk matters
Excellent interpersonal and strategic skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead change and foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture. xkybehq
