Dayshift Facilities Engineer (Electrical)

Due to the ongoing success of our manufacturing client, exciting opportunities have arisen for a dayshift Facilities Engineer with Electrical bias to join their team. This role is based near Falkirk and on dayshift.

Essential Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge

• Completed electrical apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 / 4 or city & guilds).
• Inspection and testing of electrical installations (City & Guilds 2391).
• Application of Safety, Health and Environmental legislation and procedures.
• Electrical inspection and testing.
• Fault finding: Electrical systems.
• Planning works and writing reports; completion of inspection and testing certification.
• Restore asset after works.
• Working knowledge of wiring regulations.
• Electrical principals, safety & control circuits, motors, motor control circuits.
• Spare parts management.
• Reading and adhering to site SOPs.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge

• Timeserved electrical engineer.
• PAT (City & Guilds 2377).
• IOSH Managing Safely (Beneficial).
• Background in installations.
