Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, energetic, and professional Self-employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be the face of our service, ensuring that parcels and packages are delivered safely and efficiently to residential and commercial customers. If you enjoy being out on the road, working independently, and delivering excellent service, this position is a fantastic opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities Safe Delivery: Efficiently navigate assigned local routes to deliver parcels safely and securely to customer properties.
Vehicle Loading: Assist with the sorting, scanning, and loading of delivery vehicles in a structured sequence to maximise route efficiency.
Technology Utilisation: Operate handheld delivery devices and scanner applications to log deliveries, obtain signatures, and update delivery statuses in real-time.
Customer Service: Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional demeanour when interacting with customers at delivery points.
Compliance & Care: Perform daily pre-trip vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues. Ensure adherence to all relevant road safety regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications You do not need experience to do this job.
Valid Licence: Must hold a valid driving licence recognised in the UK with no more than 6 penalty points (no active IN10 or DR10 endorsements).
Professional Attire: For safety within our busy depot environment and out on site, you must have your own safety shoes and a high-vis vest ready to wear from your first day.
Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using GPS mapping tools or smartphone navigation apps to adapt to changing traffic conditions.
Reliability: Strong time-management skills, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Training & Benefits Paid Training: We invest in your success. You will receive 2 to 3 days of fully paid training , which covers depot safety, scanner operation, loading techniques, and ride-along route shadowing with an experienced driver.
