Demand Manager Shepton Mallet, Somerset £45,000 - £50,000, Monday – Friday 33 days holiday, life insurance, employee assistance program, volunteer days, health & wellbeing scheme, employee discount scheme, enhanced sick pay scheme We're recruiting for a newly created Demand Manager role, responsible for leading customer demand planning and forecasting activities while acting as a key link between customers and internal teams. This position offers the opportunity to drive forecast accuracy, improve service performance, support S&OP processes, and build strong customer relationships within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Own and maintain customer demand forecasts across product categories. * Collaborate with customers and internal teams to improve forecast accuracy and service levels. * Identify demand risks, opportunities, promotions and product launch impacts. * Lead forecasting reviews and support the demand side of the S&OP process. * Monitor forecast accuracy, service KPIs and inventory requirements. * Work closely with Operations and Planning to align demand with production capacity. * Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting and planning processes. About You * Experience in Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain, S&OP or Commercial Planning. * Proven customer-facing experience within a supply chain environment. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar reporting experience is advantageous. * FMCG, food, drinks or consumer products experience is highly desirable.
