Demand Manager Shepton Mallet, Somerset £45,000 - £50,000, Monday - Friday 33 days holiday, life insurance, employee assistance program, volunteer days, health & wellbeing scheme, employee discount scheme, enhanced sick pay scheme We're recruiting for a newly created Demand Manager role, responsible for leading customer demand planning and forecasting activities while acting as a key link between customers and internal teams. This position offers the opportunity to drive forecast accuracy, improve service performance, support S&OP processes, and build strong customer relationships within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain customer demand forecasts across product categories. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to improve forecast accuracy and service levels. Identify demand risks, opportunities, promotions and product launch impacts. Lead forecasting reviews and support the demand side of the S&OP process. Monitor forecast accuracy, service KPIs and inventory requirements. Work closely with Operations and Planning to align demand with production capacity. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting and planning processes. About You Experience in Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain, S&OP or Commercial Planning. Proven customer-facing experience within a supply chain environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar reporting experience is advantageous. FMCG, food, drinks or consumer products experience is highly desirable.
