This opportunity is within our Saica Flex division, which manufactures a range of flexible plastic films for leading food manufacturers and retailers. Based at our Wigan site, we produce high-quality printed packaging using advanced flexographic printing technology. We are now recruiting for a highly organised and motivated Material Planner to join the Enniskillen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to play a key role in ensuring the effective planning and procurement of materials and services, supporting business operations while delivering outstanding quality, cost and service performance. As a Materials Planner , you will be responsible for planning and procuring raw materials and services to meet business requirements, while maintaining inventory levels and ensuring continuity of supply. Working closely with Sales, Planning and Manufacturing teams, you will help forecast demand, manage supplier relationships and contribute to the achievement of operational and business objectives. As our Materials Planner you will: Procure raw materials and services to support business requirements. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply. Raise and manage purchase orders in line with procurement procedures. Develop strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, quality and service agreements. Monitor supplier performance, lead times and market trends to support cost-effective purchasing decisions. Maintain accurate procurement, supplier and material data within business systems. Support stock control activities, including cycle counts and stock takes. Analyse procurement data and assist with reporting, budgeting and continuous improvement initiatives. About You To be successful in this role, you will be: Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Numerically strong, with the ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data. Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
